Laws insufficient for harm reduction
The new report from the Central Association for Alcohol and Drug Information, CAN, shows that new laws to reduce the harmful effects of smoking on public health do not give any real results. ” We need a strategy from a harm reduction perspective”, says Markus Lindblad, Head of Communications and Sustainability at Haypp Group in a debate article in Dagens Opinion. Markus Lindblad calls for legislators to formulate laws and regulations in favor of new types of products: “It will be a good example of what a harm reduction strategy can contribute and thus reduce the harmful effects of smoking for both society and the individual.” Full article (in Swedish) here
